What “GPL” Means
The GNU General Public License (GPL) is an open-source software license used by WordPress itself and by many plugin and theme developers. A key feature of the GPL is that anyone who receives GPL-licensed code is also granted the right to use, modify, and redistribute that code — including commercially — as long as the redistributed code remains under the GPL.
What We Provide
tools.hostingzing.com provides access to the underlying GPL-licensed code of various WordPress plugins and themes. When you purchase a product from us, you are downloading that code under the terms of the GPL.
What Is NOT Included
To set clear expectations, purchasing a product through tools.hostingzing.com does not include:
- An official license key registered with the original developer’s own licensing system, unless you’ve specifically purchased our separate Original License Key add-on described below
- Official/direct support from the original plugin or theme author
- Guaranteed automatic updates through the original developer’s official update servers
- Any endorsement, partnership, or affiliation with the original developer or company
Trademarks, logos, and product names remain the property of their respective owners. Our use of a product’s name is solely to describe the GPL-licensed code being made available, not to claim any official affiliation.
Original License Key Disclaimer
For select products, tools.hostingzing.com offers an optional Original License Key add-on at an additional cost, shown separately from the base GPL download on the product page. Please read this section carefully before requesting one:
- What it is: An activation/registration key that connects your installation to a genuine license record, which is what enables official automatic updates and, where applicable, the original developer’s own support channel for that specific site.
- What it isn’t: Requesting a license key does not make tools.hostingzing.com an authorized reseller of the original developer, and it does not create a direct contractual relationship between you and that developer. We facilitate the activation; we are not the license issuer.
- Validity is tied to what’s stated at purchase: The duration, scope (e.g. number of sites), and update eligibility of a license key are exactly what’s described on the product page at the time you request it. We don’t guarantee terms beyond what was stated there.
- One key, one legitimate use: A license key is issued for your own site(s) as described at purchase. Sharing, reselling, or redistributing an activated key is not covered by our support and may result in the key being invalidated by the original licensing system — something outside our control.
- Delivery and setup: Where a license request requires site information (e.g. a temporary login) to complete activation, that information is used solely to perform the activation and is only ever visible to our team, never shared publicly.
- No refunds once activated: Same as the rest of our catalog — see our Refund & Cancellation Policy. Once a license key has been requested and activation started, the order is final.
Our Own Support
While we can’t provide the original developer’s official support channel (except where a valid, active license key you’ve purchased through us grants that directly), our team is available via WhatsApp to help with installation, download access, and general usage questions for anything purchased through tools.hostingzing.com.

By purchasing from tools.hostingzing.com, you acknowledge that you understand the above, and that you are responsible for how you use the downloaded software and any license key on your own website(s), including compliance with the GPL when you use, modify, or redistribute it further.
